Blogging must not be my priority right now!!! I have along list of things to do before my family gets here for thanksgiving and blogging is not one of them.

As cute as this baby girl is...she bites and bites HARD!!! Benjamin breastfed for 14 months and never had bit me this hard or this often!! It is awful and I don't know how to kindly tell her that it hurts. Of course when it happens i scream a little but she just laughs at me and I think it has to do with her hearing loss because it is not as loud for her as it is for the rest of the house.

I love her so much and will miss feeding her but she will be getting pumped milk from a bottle, I draw the line when she draws blood and I have a scab....that is enough...

This post is for Nikki!!! You posted your kids cute chunky thighs and I had to post my cute baby girls chunky thighs and cute BUM!!!
She loves bathtime!!! It is her second favorite time of the day...the first is when she sees her daddy for the first time every day!!! I have a DADDY'S girl and he loves it and she has him wrapped around her little finger and I love seeing how happy he makes her and she makes him!!!
She is my crawling girl and is so happy!!! Her brothers love her just as much as we do and Koda loves to call her sweetheart but Benji is partial to calling her stinker...I love it!!! I love having kids and i am grateful that I was blessed with three awesome and CUTE kids!!!

I am using yellow because yellow is supposed to be a happy color and I am not so happy with my not even 6 month old crawling baby!!! She has decided to be mobile and while usually I would be completely happy and excited I am frantically trying to get this not so baby proofed house, baby proofed. I thought that I had another month at least. She is a mover and you can't keep her contained for very long. I love her and is growing like crazy and she is a lot happier because she can crawl. I guess I will have to put my frustration aside and be grateful for such a smart and CUTE little girl who makes me smile everyday!!!

Today was just simple an amazing day. Everything happened the way it was supposed to and I am so happy that it did. Leo decided today was the day that we were going to do the countertops for our kitchen. We have absolutely NO experience in building a concrete countertop but we thought that we would take a chance and try it. It has taken A LOT longer than anticipated but it was so worth it today. Leo has spent LONG hours working on the form which I think is the hardest part. He was out there if he was not at work. It has been so hard on me and it has been hard on him. BUT TODAY!!!!! We poured concrete into the first form!!! The kids cooperated and I got to help do it. I put work into our countertops and it as just Leo and I doing it and I am so happy that we got to work side by side finally. It is such a growing experience when you work together with your spouse and I have been waiting so long to be able to work with my sweet husband on a big project like this one. There are plenty more to do but it was one of the best days to work next to the man of my dreams.
He asked me if i wanted to write something on the bottom since it was cement but I said no. Two hours later I went out to see how much it had dried and my awesome husand and drawn a heart and wrote Leo and Jana on the inside. I though it was very sweet and I love that he loves me so much and wants to write in on our countertops!!!
The past two days have been so productive and awesome and it gets me excited to see that Leo and I can work together and will be working together until late. Leo wants to pour the other countertop tonight when he gets home from work at 2 AM. We will see how that goes!!!!

These pictures are backwards so think of the process of going from the bottom up. We made sure we had the cabinets IN OUR HOUSE before we took out the old one. I knew that it was going to be awful with out a kitchen so we waited until the last possile moment to not have a kitchen. The bottom picture is picking up the cabinets from IKEA. There were so many boxes and we soon began to figure out that this was a little more complicated but we were and still are happy with our decision to go with IKEA for our cabinets. The next picture of course is the demolition of the white kitchen and as you can tell I went the opposite for the new kitchen. I love these cabinets. The top two corner cabinets have lazy susans in them and one of the bottom two also has one but the other corner has a half lazy susan. I love it and I am so excited to see the finished project but the countertops are taking a little bit longer than we thought (imagine that).
I am really grateful for James for his help with hanging the cabinets. It was really stressful with the not so straight walls and ceiling. It is nice to have family that is willing to help with this project. Leo and I are excited to get it done so we can go have some fun sometime soon. You know what they say though, you have to work before you can play!!! Sometimes it sucks but you have to do what you have to do to get it done!!! I am hoping that the done part comes soon!!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures of our sweet Abigail!!! She had her two month checkup and she is 9 lbs. and 15 oz. She is chunking up pretty good. She seems to be built like her big brother Dakota. Chubby thighs and all. She did so good and cried good for the many shots that she had to get. Hopefully we will find our camera and the charger and take some better pictures. She is changing so fast and she is just TOO CUTE not to take pictures of...Grandma needs to come back she is EXCELLENT at getting pictures an lots of them. She is smiling and giggling so much and I want to get them on camera. She is a good baby and a great addition to our crazy but fun little family and we would not be us with out her!!! We love you Abby Rae!!!

Sorry about the lack of posts!!! According to this I haven't even had a baby yet!!! Life has just been to busy with trying to finish the house and take of three kids instead of just two. When I am not being a mom I am being a weed eater, construction worker, interior designer(which I am not good at...i can't even decide what color to paint the kitchen!!!) among other things that I am not used to o good at.
The house is coming along and Leo is back to work and we are still trying to figure out how to juggle all of this homeowner/parents to 3 kids thing and still have a wonderful marriage!!! Surprisingly I think that we are ok. It is just the blog that is feeling neglected and I think that is fine for now. We have lost yet another camera so pictures are few and far between.

I have never seen this is the 3 years that Dakota has been here...asleep where he dropped. My kids have NEVER fallen asleep anywhere but their own bed when I put them there and TELL them to go to sleep.

I was talking to my mom on the phone and she was telling me this FABULOUS story about taking the toilet out of the downstairs bathroom, which ended up as Steve's new office chair, I thought my boys were quietly (i know seriously right) playing in the living room. I thought it was a little TOO quiet, and this is what I found. My Coco fell asleep right where he was because he is exhausted. These kids have gone 20+ hours without falling down in exhaustion, but today when there is nothing going on Dakota decided to fall asleep NOT in his bed. I honestly thought he was sick but no....just tired!!!

This is my SUNBEAM!!! I cannot believe that I have a sunbeam!!! This is the most bittersweet thing that I have done so far with my boys. He did so well his first Sunday and I could not be more proud of how he handled it. Benjamin was okay too. He loves nursery with or without Dakota. However, Dakota was worried for his little brother. The first thing he said when I picked him up from primary was "Is Benji ok?" I reassured him that he was being a big boy just like he was. I thought it was so cute that he was so concerned for his little brother. I think it does them good to separate every once in awhile. They don't get to very often but when they do it is nice!!!

We are in the final stages of buying our first home and I am so glad that we are almost done with the waiting part. I knew this already but my husband is the most thorough shopper in the entire universe. He is going to make sure that we get the best price on anything we get for our new house. We are talking endless hours on the internet looking at all our options and talking to people to see what their ideas are and what the best options are. I know I whine about it all the time because I just want to get it over with but I truly am grateful for his patience to wait it out to get the best.

We are busy with our lives and it is only going to get busier. Leo's sister is engaged to be married in March but then his brother Kurt decided to surprise us and find his eternal companion also. They are set to get married on February 28. This year seems to be pretty busy but everything is happening within the first four months....I will be interested to see what the rest of the year will bring.....YIKES!!!
